Japanese Tools - Iida Tool

Tetsushin Saihohraku is a plane blacksmith from Miki-city, Hyogo. He succeeds his dad in the family business and he is a third generation blacksmith. He works to improve his skills everyday with his 40 years of experience. His works have a high reputation, especially his Mokume (Grain of wood) design which is considered better quality than any other. He never gives up and makes products to his heart content.
He has special steel which other blacksmiths do not have. He is not as famous as Tsunesaburo or Ishidoh, but I strongly recommend his works. I recommended his product to a certain customer and after he bought it, he says that he will never buy any other planes.
