Yoshitaka Ishidoh
Yoshitaka Ishidoh is the head of a blacksmith
family carried through to the present day for 400 years. His family were sword
smiths before the Meiji era and after the era, they started to make planes. He
is a well-skilled and experienced blacksmith, who can distinguish temperature
difference by checking the fire color in the furnace and his senses. When
asked, if he inherited his skill from his families' genes or DNA, Ishidoh said
humbly that his continuing determination to observe tradition (carrying on the
torch) made him what he is today.
